Green and Purple Bird and Flowers

 

This artwork is a reminder that God takes care of the birds, so He will certainly take care

of His people. 

 

I like using bright colors in my art. Growing up, I was only allowed to dress in certain colors but in my art, anything goes. It makes me feel happy.

Red and Gold Bird and Nest

I like the NIV translation:  "How many are your works, Lord! In wisdom you made them all; the earth is full of your creatures."

The flowers in this image remind me of the beautiful red hollyhocks my grandma had growing beside her washhouse in the summer. After the chores and dishes were done, my aunts would take me outside and make a hollyhock doll for me, using  a blossom for the skirt and a bud for it's head. Good memories.
